Dear Church Family,

The Finance Team would like to thank you for your faithful support of our church over the past year. Because of your generosity, PUMC continues to live out its mission — worshiping God, serving our neighbors, and growing disciples. Your giving makes ministry possible, from the lights in the sanctuary to the lives being touched throughout our community.

A great example of your impact is our community outreach through programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous and English as a Second Language (ESL). The Prosper AA group meets seven days a week at PUMC, providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals seeking recovery and support. The ESL program gathers newcomers from our community who are eager to improve their language skills and build relationships. Led by dedicated church volunteers, these classes not only help participants communicate more confidently but also offer many their first experience in a Christian environment and a pathway to a Church home.

While much of our budget goes toward essential expenses like payroll, insurance, and utilities, your gifts truly extend beyond our walls. As we approach the end of our financial year, we are $157,000 away from meeting our year-end Tithes and Offerings goal. If you’ve fallen a bit behind on your giving this year, there’s still time to catch up. Every gift, whether large or small, helps PUMC finish strong and begin the new year on a firm foundation.

And don’t forget — this Sunday at 3 PM is our Harvest Festival! Come enjoy the petting zoo, inflatables, midway games, and the pie bake-off contest. Even better, come volunteer and share your love for God’s creation during this family fun day.

Thank you again for your continued generosity, prayers, and service. Together, we are making a lasting difference in our community and beyond.

With gratitude and blessings,
Ron Worley, Chair of the Finance Committee
