OUR GOAL

To create and provide an environment where youth feel comfortable, allow them to be who God created them to be and open their hearts to what God has in store for them. We want to walk along students as they discover, develop and own their faith; experience God’s grace; and engage the community to share God’s love through study, service, and experiences.

WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?

Everything we do is about making disciples of Jesus Christ. In order to do that we are:

  • Gospel Focused -No matter how we teach the Bible, or what we are teaching, it must be taught through the lens of the Gospel. When we make our Bible teaching too much about cultural relevance or entertainment, we fail students. The good news of God’s rescue plan for humanity, as fulfilled in Christ, must be the foundation of our teaching.

  • Relationally Centered - as opposed to program, or event centered. Think about the relationships Jesus formed with His disciples. Life was shared. It wasn’t Jesus merely dumping information on His followers. There was real relationship. Jesus and His disciples shared life together.

  • Community Oriented - Healthy discipleship is relationally centered but fully embraces the gift of community.

  • Outward Reaching- Creating opportunities for our students to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and to serve outside of the walls of the church.

  • Multiplication Empowering- It is pretty simple if we are doing discipleship the right way students will begin to desire to draw other people in.
