My Letter from God

I know your heart, your desires.
I’ve known your deepest thoughts from the very start.
I’ve watched your story, play by play, no need to explain.
I see you, your interactions, your part.
I see the chain.

Just don’t give up on me.

You start to wither; you begin to decay.
I hear all your prayers, even just my name.
You think you are not going to be okay.
I can feel your shame

Just don’t give up on me.

You ask for forgiveness; I give it.
Grace upon Grace, my gift.
You ask repeatedly, please receive it
I love you unconditionally, it doesn’t shift.

Just don’t give up on me.

I promise a plan, a purpose, a hope, and a future.
Keep your focus, don’t look away.
My hand is extended; be brave.
I will never let go. Take hold.

Just don’t give up on me.

I know what they said, I see their actions.
It is all a distraction.
I will cover you with my armor; nothing falls through.
I will fight for you.

Just don’t give up on me.

Doors will close; your mind will wander.
But I never do, I favor you.
I will give you what you need; I do NOT aim to please.
You will feel like you are drowning, caught in high tide.
Stay connected to me, get on your knees.
The right door will open wide.

Just don’t give up on me.

I will give you strength to follow through.
My wisdom and guidance are here for you.
I see you slipping, I make all things new,
Sending helpers, messengers, and God winks too.

Just don’t give up on me.

I know you will trip on your own feet.
I will carry you, not missing a beat.
There is glory ahead, a way out
With many blessings only I know about.

Just don’t give up on me.

I won’t let you settle; the timing is perfect.
It all has a purpose, don’t stay nervous.
There is a wait, but it never arrives too late.

Just don’t give up on me.

You think you hold the plan, then comes the silence.
No response gives you the clarity to pivot.
Cast out your net, you’ll feel my presence.
It is time—I have no limits.

Just don’t give up on me.

The answer comes smooth, swift, with confidence.
Peace surrounds you; my hand is on you.
Without understanding, you can’t get down.

A new beginning, an unexpected town.

Restoration comes, more than you asked, more than you knew.

I have so much more.

You will glide right where you’re meant to be; you will increase.
People you belong with just as it’s supposed to be.
The direction is clear; your future I lead.
It all fits together like a puzzle piece.

I have so much more.

You will stand in awe of my power.
Look back and see me weaving.
Through all your mess, I never cower.
Your faith was forged in the fire
All because you kept believing.
I always had you, lifting you higher.

Don’t give up on me. I have so much more.

Reflection: Are you in a situation that steals your hope? Are you giving up on God’s power and love for you? Nothing is too big for Him. Keep believing.

Prayer:​ Thank you Lord for staying with me and never leaving me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally with your hand grasped to me. Although I never want to go back through that season, I am thankful to you for where I am now. Your ways are perfect. Praise be to the 3:1.
